Throw down your arms: A time and place for everything.

While arose Andy Schleck and Alberto Contador as the two riders that most likely atop the podium in Paris in the coveted jaundice are chemise dressed, this year's tour de France has proven a "difficult" for the over 30 set. First, Christian Vande Velde had his usual first week crash and subsequent abandon (or "Crabandon;"); most had crash-tastic tour stage of career as next Lance Armstrong; then, yesterday on the Col de la Madeleine, Cadel Evans lost his yellow Jersey and his own chances for victory.
